The Surprisingly Easy Way to Make $1,562 of Passive Income in a Week While You Vacation

These are strategies I use to make $1,562 or more in passive income in a week.

Earlier this month, I went on a cruise to the Mexican Rivera.

My husband and two kiddos joined me.

We experienced beautiful sunsets from our balcony.

We ate 5-course meals.

We even saw a pod of 50 dolphins swimming by after we played pickleball on the top deck for an hour.

It was a magical vacation, and we were able to unplug and unwind.

Sounds amazing, right?

It really was.

We all experienced so much joy and felt fully alive in the present moment each and every day.

What made the trip even more amazing was that I made $1,562 passively online while I was on the trip from work that I did once nearly 2 years ago.

Let me explain…

How I got here

A few years ago, I was just like you. I would read articles and listen to podcasts about side hustles and passive income. One day a guest on a podcast mentioned that she made income by selling digital products on Etsy.

“What are digital products?”

I thought to myself.

I soon found out that digital products are downloadable products that don’t need to be shipped. They include but are not limited to PDF files, digital planners, digital stickers (Crazy? Yes, but it’s a thing), Canva templates, presets, spreadsheets, and so much more. When I first heard about them, I didn’t even know Etsy allowed this (I thought they only sold physical handmade goods).

Why digital products are so amazing

Digital products are amazing for many reasons.

First, they have higher margins than physical products because you don’t have to pay to ship them to the customer.

They require less time (helping make them passive) because they are automatically digitally sent to the customer upon purchase.

They are also fast and easy to make and test. For example, with a physical product, you could spend months or years prototyping only to have demand shift, but with digital products, you can make something in a day, post it on Etsy and start making money tomorrow.

Finally, one of my favorite reasons for loving digital products is because the upside is infinite- you can make something once and then make money on it forever, allowing an impressive return on time invested.

Steps to getting started

When you’re a beginner, starting feels overwhelming. I know because I’ve been there.

So, how about a cheat code?

In my free passive income startup checklist, I break down the first steps that can take you from having no clue where to start to have a viable digital product in as little as a day.

This is the tool I wish I had when I first started; I would have saved a lot of time and headache, and I’m confident it will save you a lot of time and headache too.

But I digress.

Here’s my advice

I promised I would share some strategies, so here they are.

Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.

– Benjamin Franklin

The best advice I have is to not wait and start today. If this passive income idea sounds interesting to you, start immediately by brainstorming ideas (this will show you a fast and strategic way to do this). As the quote above states, you need to involve yourself in the process to truly learn. Thinking about something will only get you so far; you’ve got to take action. You’ve got to put in the time.

When it comes down to it, there’s a stage in every entrepreneur’s life where they’re making less than they do at a full-time job. The only way to get past the “small money” stage is to put the time in. Take a look at the graph below. If you want to make passive income, you must get started on your journey as soon as possible. You’ve got to start to get that blue line to grow. I started mine a few years ago, and that’s why I’m able to enjoy passive income today.

Save Time

Starting anything new is hard. Not seeing results right away is also hard. But there’s a cheat code.

If you want to save time and make money faster, consider learning from someone that did what you are looking to do. That’s what I did, and it changed my life, allowing me to quit my full-time job and spend more time making magical moments with my family.

I don’t have an Etsy course to sell you.

However, I do wholeheartedly recommend the course I took. If you want to learn more about how I reached my success, you can read my full review of the course I took here. They also have a free webinar that can help you start.

There are many courses out there about how to sell digital products on Etsy- but to my knowledge, this is the only one that helped people quit their jobs and make 6 figures passively.

How To Build Passive Income

There’s a quiet misconception about how to build passive income that refuses to die. That the people pulling it off are somehow different. Smarter. Earlier. Braver. Richer. Better positioned. They’re not. Most of them are just… normal. Busy. Slightly skeptical. Often late to the party and unsure if it’ll even work. That’s what makes their stories interesting. Because passive income, when you strip away the hype, isn’t built by superheroes. It’s built by people who decided to stop waiting for perfect conditions and started using what they already had. I know, because that’s exactly how I started. My Passive Income

Why Money Isn’t the Barrier to Passive Income (and What Is)

Let’s clear something about passive income up right away. If you don’t have passive income yet, it’s probably not because you don’t have enough money. That’s the story we tell ourselves because it’s convenient. Money is an easy villain. It lets us delay action without confronting the harder stuff. “I’ll start once I have more cash.”“I just need a little runway.”“I’d do this if money wasn’t so tight.” I believed that too. And it kept me stuck far longer than I care to admit. Because once I actually started building passive income, it became painfully obvious: money was never the

Build Passive Income Even If You’re Broke

Nobody admits this part about building passive income out loud, so I will. Most people who want passive income aren’t lazy. They’re exhausted. They’re mentally juggling daycare costs, groceries that somehow doubled, and a job that pays fine but somehow never feels like enough. They don’t want to be rich-rich. They want room to breathe. And when you’re in that place, most passive income advice sounds… detached from reality. “Just invest.”“Just start a business.”“You just need to outsource.” Cool. With what money? And what time? I didn’t start building passive income because I was inspired. I started because I was
